Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations is set to head to Mantova this September and with no team selected currently for USA, Chase Sexton is still in the running.

The Team HRC Honda man has yet to be chosen to represent his country this year, as its still up in the air if Team USA will actually attend this year’s event due to Covid travel restrictioms.

The second year premier class rider addressed his desire to compete at MXoN following his fourth place finish at Budds Creek.

“Like Iā€™ve said multiple times, itā€™s a dream for me to go race for my country and represent the USA,ā€ Sexton said.

“Last year they didnā€™t have it and I feel like this year itā€™s obviously a good opportunity if I get picked to go.

“So yeah, Iā€™m all in. Iā€™ll definitely give it my best effort and go out there and leave it all on the track if I get the chance to.”

It remains to be seen if Team Honda HRC outfit in the US will send their only rider still open to lining up. Sextonā€™s teammate Ken Roczen has opted to out of Team Germanyā€™s roster and the Lawrence brothers are not planning to ride for Team Australia, so it’s still completely up in the air with around a month to go.
