Crendon FastTrack Honda have had a unfortunate start to the opening round of the Michelin MX Nationals, with both riders retiring after Saturday’s racing schedule.

Heading into the first race of the day MX1 rider Tommy Searle seemed his usual self on board his CRF450R Honda, despite feeling ill and coping with the intense heat, he still managed to grab a decent thirteenth place.

But he began to deteriorate and decided to call it a day on the second MX1 Moto of the weekend, not even lining up at the gate, and also making the decision to call it off for tomorrow’s racing with a suspected virus.
