Round two of the 2021 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will put both riders and their motorcycles to the test as the series travels past 6000 feet in elevation for the Toyota Thunder Valley National.
With its mountainside setting, Colorado’s Thunder Valley Motocross Park is not only one of the most scenic venues in American motocross, it’s also one of the toughest challenges teams and competitors will face all season due to the high altitude.
Fresh off their impressive wins at the opening round, Monster Star Yamaha’s Dylan Ferrandis and Team Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence will look to keep the momentum going at Thunder Valley.
In the 450 class the enthusiastic Colorado crowd will have all eyes on state hero Eli Tomac, who enters his home race as the defending winner and will try to bounce back following the worst opening round performance of his career aboard his Monster Energy Kawasaki.
In the 250 Class, Monster Star Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin will share possession of the red plate with Lawrence, as the co-point leaders prepare to do battle for another two motos.
