Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Dean Wilson suffered a huge crash at this weekend’s supercross round, suffering a nasty laceration which saw him tended to trackside by Alpinestars medical staff.
After coming in hot into the whoops, Deano hit the hay bales causing his footpeg to land into his back, causing a huge cut and two operations to stabilize later on in hospital.
Taking to Instagram to issue and update, Deano said “I was going pretty fast into the whoops, and my rear wheel just hit a bump and I went into the bales and kind of into a wall.”
“I had to kind of eject from the bike, and I’m laying there hit pretty hard, I just feel really really warm, and I look down and I’m just laying in a pool of blood.”
