Bike IT Kawasaki rider Courtney Duncan stormed to overall victory this weekend at the FIM World WMX Championships in Turkey.

Heading into the second WMX moto of the day in Ayfon, it was Elisa Galvagno who grabbed a huge holeshot followed by Nancy Van de Van, with Courtney Duncan and GasGas’s Kiara Fontanesi hot on her tail, as Kiara and Courtney push past in the opening lap.

The chase was on then for Duncan, as she pushed hard to close the gap on Fontanesi, making a few mistakes in the tricky hard pack corners, as she takes a huge leap to try and pass Van de Van but she fought back for a few corners until duncan eventually made the pass.

Fontanesi was still charging hard out front to try and extend the gap on Duncan, but it came right down to the last corner where ultimately the Kiwi charged past the Italian to claim the moto two win and the overall result for saturdays WMX.
