Red Bull KTM’s Tom Vialle sealed the top step of the podium today in Italy, with a double win and a double Fox holeshot in Pietramurata.
Storming out of the gate to collect his second Fox Holeshot of the weekend in Trentino, it was Vialle, followed by Monster Energy Yamaha’s Thibault Benistant and Yamaha’s Rick Elzinga for the opening lap.
Neestan Husqvarna’s Kay De Wolf also had a great start to the second moto, as he quickly made passes to move up into second place, which is where he finished in the moto for a podium result. Benistant and Geerts however scrapped it out between them, as De Wolf put the fastest lap in twice in a row trying to chance down Vialle, as Geerts has a huge off which saw him finishing outside the top ten.
Tom Vialle goes on to win the second MX2 moto of the day in Italy, followed by De Wolf and Benistant rounding up the top three.
