With the MX2 title already in the bag, Tom Vialle (Red Bull KTM) could afford a few lapses in concentration at yesterdayās MXGP of Garda Trentino ā the 18th and final round of the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship ā which is a good job because he fell three times in the second moto!
Luckily, being the fastest rider in the world on a 250F has its upside and he still finished the race in fifth which together with his opening moto win was good enough for second overall on the day.
āTo be world champion in my second year is amazing,ā said the 20-year-old Frenchman. āThe last few days have been really good and today my riding was pretty good also. In the second moto I crashed at the start but came back from last to fifth. I crashed twice more and was a bit angry about thatā¦but I was really fast today.
āI tried to be as consistent as possible this year. I was trying my best every time and focusing on good starts and riding like I do in training and it worked very well. I want to thank the whole team and my family. It has been amazing to ride in this race team the last two years. It has been fantastic.ā
