Fantic Factory Team Maddi rider Hakkon Osterhagen checked out in the first EMX125 moto of the day in Maggiora, with a ten second lead.

ASA United Gas Gas rider Bobby Bruce was out front within two corners of the first EMX125 race this morning in Maggiora, until he made a mistake which dropped him way back to in the early stages of the race, where he ultimately finished up in 28th. This then allowed championship leader Hakkon Osterhagen to fly through to take an early lead.

Meanwhile further down the field Brit riders Bailey Johnson and James barker grabbed some great results at the tricky Maggiora circuit, finishing a 31st and 36th.

This then lead to another race with for Osterhagen in the EMX125 Class on board his Fantic machine, with a near ten second lead ahead of the Italian Valerio Lato, just as Sacha Coenon had a huge crash cartwheeling down one of the Maggiora hills. This then left the door wide open for Kay Karssemakers to claim third.
