Resident sand surfer Todd Kellett will stand in for Arnaud Tonus this weekend at round six of MXGP at Lommel.
The Bristolian has already tried and tested the Hostettler Yamaha YZ450 as he gets ready to get stuck into the blue riband class this Sunday.
He will be replacing the injured Tonus for this weekend only, as the Swiss isn’t fit to ride due to a concussion.
“Todd is a good rider and a fighter with a lot of ambition,ā said team boss Jef Janssen. “Itās a win-win situation for both sides and I think he will take his chance in Lommel.”
