Factory Fantic Team Maddi wins the EMX250 European Championship with a forth in the first moto of the day in Mantova.

Factory Fantic Team Maddi’s Nicolas Lapucci stormed the holeshot for the first EMX250 moto of the day in Mantova, leading the pack with SM Action Racing teams Kevin Horgmo sits in second for the opening laps.

KTM rider Rick Elzinga then makes the pass on Nicolas Lapucci and moves up into the lead, pulling half a second on Championship leader Lata.

Maxime Grau crashed out mid moto dropping himself down to eleventh place, as championship leader Lapucci drops down to fourth, with a three way battle going on in front of him for the podium with Horgmo moving himself up to first, followed by Hakon Frederiksen and Rick Elzinga sitting in third.

With Lapucci dropping down to third place, all he had to do was finish the moto where he was sat, to win the championship title, with Horgmo claiming the race win for the first moto of the day.
