HRC Honda’s Tim Gajser shot to overall victory at round three of the Monster Energy FIM World Motocross Championships, at the Villa La Angostura track in Argentina.

Adding another Fox Holeshot to his collection, the Slovakian rider stormed through to an early lead during the second MXGP moto of the day, as race one winner Monster Energy Yamaha’s Maxime Renaux sat in fourth in the opening laps and started to move through the pack.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Brit rider Ben Watson also had a much better second moto of the weekend, finishing tenth and twelfth overall for the weekend. As Honda 114 Motorsports Reuben Fernandez, Red Bull KTM’s Jorge Prado and Renaux battled it out behind Tim Gajser to respectively finish with Renaux second, Fernandez third and Prado rounding up the top four riders.
