Eight months after a crash that necessitated a pharmacological coma, Arminas Jasikonis has announced he will return to MXGP at Matterley Basin.
The Rockstar Husqvarna rider has opted to miss the opening round in Russia but went 18-10 yesterday at Ernee in France as part of his warm-up.
“Eight months ago I had big crash and I was thrown to medically induced coma for three days. So, here we are back to the races,” he said.
“We are nowhere near to our goals, but Iām just so happy to be racing. I mean the day didnāt go smooth, in warm up I had quite big crash and my wrist and right side of pelvis was quite hit, so race was not most nice felling, but we loved it.
