The first leg of the Andalucia rally got well underway yesterday after a promising prologue for the riders, with the first leg win going to Sherco Factory racing and multiple spanish championship winner Lorenzo Santolino.

The Sherco Factory rider’s day however could of turned out very differently, arriving at the bivouac with a huge hole in his rear tyre.

“I noticed the tyre was damaged at the end of the first special stage,” said Lorenzo. “After that I had to take it a bit easier to make sure I got the bike to the finish line, but apart from that no problems.”
