Infront Moto Racing have announced that MXGP and Gaerne step into another season of the FIM Motocross World Championship together to continue their strong partnership for a further two years.
Gaerne has established itself as one of the leading boot brands in the motocross industry and has been a part of MXGP for many years. In 2022 the Italian brand will celebrate its 60th Anniversary and will remain a part of the FIM Motocross World Championship.
Based in Coste di Maser in the Province of Treviso, Italy, Gaerne was founded in 1962 by Mr. Ernesto Gazzola, who gave the company its name using the first initials of his name. Gaerne started producing quality mountain wear, before the firm’s growth saw the brand move into other sectors including the production of motorcycling boots and then cycling shoes in the mid-seventies and eighties.
In 2022, Gaerne will support Factory Kawasaki Racing Team’s Romain Febvre and Ben Watson, along with JWR Honda Racing’s Seva Brylyakov, Davy Pootjes and Miro Sihvonen, DIGA PROCROSS KTM RACING’s Thomas Kjer Olsen as well as Fantic Factory Maddii Racing Team’s Nicholas Lapucci, Hakon Osterhagen, Cornelius Tondel, Alexis Fueri and Cas Valk.
