FIM World MXGP Championship has released an update to the 2021 calendar for the remainder of the season, adding Italian triple headers to the line up.

There have been unavoidable updates to the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, and Infront Moto Racing together with theĀ FIM, the FIM EuropeĀ and all the organisers have been working hard to maintain a full racing calendar for one of the most competitive seasons of MXGP.

As a results, theĀ MXGP of PortugalĀ that was originally scheduled to take place on the 23rd and 24th of October and the overseas races,Ā MXGP of Argentina, MXGP of AsiaĀ andĀ MXGP of BaliĀ will no longer take place this year, but they will all be postponed to 2022 and instead will be substituted by a triple-header in Pietramurata with theĀ MXGP of Trentino,Ā MXGP of PietramurataĀ andĀ MXGP of GardaĀ and two events in Mantova for theĀ MXGP of LombardiaĀ andĀ MXGP of CittĆ  di Mantova.

In addition to the calendar changes, this years FIM European Motocross of Nations that was due to take place in Rio Sardo in Italy, will not be going ahead as originally planned and will be postponed until 2022.
