KTM Rider Shana Van Der Vlist grabbed the second WMX win and overall result of the weekend at Lommel.
Bike It MTX Kawasaki rider Courtney Duncan grabbed a strong holeshot and start to the second WMX Moto of the day, just as Fontanesi she started working her way through the field in the first few corners of the opening lap.
Nancy van der van on the charge in second position hunting down the kiwi race leader, as Fontanesi makes the pass on her a charged after Duncan, setting the fastest lap of the race.
Fontanesi then charges past Duncan to take the lead, before making a mistake allowing Duncan and Van De Van to close the gap on her just as Shana Van Der Vlist make a huge pass on Van De Van with the two dutch girls almost locking bars.
Duncan makes a mistake and jumps off track but luckily doesn’t lose any places and continued to charge towards Van De Van, as Van Der Vlist moves up into the race lead.
Shana Van Der Vlist grabs her first WMX race win and overall and also takes the championship lead ahead of Courtney Duncan.
