Legendary Belgian rider Ken De Dycker will be lining up on the start gate this weekend for round two of the EMX Open series at Oss, Netherlands.
After hanging up his boots at the end of the 2017 MXGP Race season, the ex Red Bull KTM rider did the odd GP in 2018 but hasn’t contested the FIM World Motocross Championship since then.
This weekend he will be lining up in the new EMX Open championship, allowing him to compete and catch up with some old faces around the paddock. With extensive rain and flooding across Belgium at the moment, let’s hope this weekends track holds up for the riders and fans.
“We are on the way to Oss, I just want to be at this event and round all our old friends,” De Dycker told DBR.
“So we are just doing this for fun, I did not train so much and only had my first race last weekend in a whole year! I Just hope to have some fun and see how it goes. I hope it doesn’t rain too much and we will have a good show.”
