Team Netherlands has named their rider line-up for the 2018 MXoN and the Dutch federation feel they are putting out the strongest roster the country can offer.
With Jeffrey Herlings named among the three, the KNMV is hopeful of challenging for the 2018 Motocross of Nations at RedBud on October 6/7.
‘Nations rookie Calvin Vlaanderen should do well and confidence will be high with the 22-year-old ā *clears throat* South African ā after delivering several podiums in the MX2 Motocross World Championship in 2018, including impressive rides in the Czech Republic ā tied on points with GP winner Jorge Prado ā and Pangkal Pinang, Indonesia where Vlaanderen tasted his first ever Grand Prix victory. He currently holds fifth in the points standings.
Glenn Coldenhoff holds a top 10 place in the world championship, is more often than not a very solid rider and on his day is capable of delivering a podium.

Last, but certainly not least, there is Herlings. Do I really need to say anything about The Bullet? He’s currently unstoppable in MXGP with only the great Tony Cairoli capable of getting close to him and at times even TC222 can’t live with him.
And there’s that heavyweight battle as motocross fans across the world salivate at the prospect of Herlings and Eli Tomac facing off at RedBud.
So these are the three 2018 Team Netherlands MXoN riders:
- Jeffrey Herlings
- Glenn Coldenhoff
- Calvin Vlaanderen
