Rhayader MC are busy preparing for their popular Motorex sponsored evening extreme Hare ’n’ Hounds that will take place on Saturday, July 13 at Cwmythig Hill, near Rhayader, Mid-Wales.
There are classes for all abilities – Championship, Expert, Clubman, Under 19, Over 40, Over 50, Ladies, Sportsman A and Sportsman B.
The format will be two x 40-minute races, with race one starting at 6.45pm and race two at 8pm.
There is some good prize money up for grabs too – Championship first gets £300, second gets £150. Expert 1st gets £100, second gets £50. Plus there are awards for the top three in each class.
There will be an award presentation after the event in the marquee. There is also some cracking entertainment lined-up after the event with a licensed bar and also a children’s bouncy castle.
The club are also holding a Youth Hare ‘n Hounds on the Sunday. This will start at 11am and include classes from fun bikes right through to 150cc.
This will be a three-race format similar to last year’s series, with a Novice race kicking off the day, followed by two races for the more experienced riders.
