The MX Grand Prix of Italy in Maggiora marked the 60th anniversary of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.
To celebrate this landmark, Yamaha Motor Europe, in addition to revealing the 2016 YZ450F and YZ250F models, gave the international media a first look at the special retro livery.
The weekend was sealed by rookie Romain Febvre riding his bright yellow Yamaha to a second consecutive GP victory in the premier class.
