Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team rider Ryan Villopoto has ridden his first testing laps on the factory KX450F that he will use in the 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship.

The 2014 AMA Supercross Champion was given the all-clear through scans and examinations by medical staff in Barcelona on Wednesday and flew straight back to Northern Europe to begin shake-down set-up work with the Netherlands-based team.

While his previous contemporaries were preparing for a press call at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas for the Monster Energy Cup Villopoto and team-mate Tyla Rattray were testing suspension in the damp conditions at Grevenbroich, Germany and also at Bastogne, Belgium and the circuit used for the 2014 FIM Junior World Championship today.

Kawasaki released some official GoPro footage of RV trampling European soil for the first time since 2011. Riding conditions were not easy but Villopoto is believed to have tried both Showa and KYB suspension units and will make a plan with the team to continue work in the build-up to the Grand Prix of Qatar next February where he will make his MXGP debut.
