Mike Alessi was passed by Broc Tickle during their heat race in Atlanta when in what appears to be a moment of frustration Mike Alessi t-bones Broc Tickle, sending Tickle flying. It left Ricky Carmichael momentarily speechless and baffled the announcing booth with Jeff Emig calling it a “cheap shot”.
After the race the AMA/FIM race officials fined Alessi $4,000 for the incident. Did Alessi get off lightly?
