Apparently KTM are interested in buying the struggling Gas Gas business.
It’s been reported in Spain by Enduro Pro that a delegation of KTM representatives visited the Gas Gas factory in Girona but was greeted by burning tyres and a sign that read: ‘KTM this is not your home’.
If that wasn’t enough to make the point that some employees allegedly don’t welcome the interest of KTM there was a hanging mannequin dressed in a KTM branded top.
Enduro Pro say Gas Gas employees are concerned that once KTM snap up the Catalan business they will move production to KTM’s main facilities in Austria.
