Good news for Valentino Rossi fans with the latest news from Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team that the nine-time champion has experienced a positive healing process over the last 12 hours.

Rossi was diagnosed yesterday evening with mild thoracic and abdominal trauma, following a motocross accident, but he is making positive progress with his recovery and may be discharged from the hospital within the day.

The 38-year-old Italian says he is experiencing less pain both in the chest and in the abdomen, compared to last night. Apparently, the pain is being caused by slight liver and kidney lesions, but they have not evolved into further complications.
