A regular competitor in the TWMX race series and poster model for Transworld Motocross has found herself in trouble with law enforcement in California.

Corrina Elizabeth Conway, who goes by the model name Elizabeth Chateau was caught in the act stealing more than $200,000 in silver bars and silver coins from a pawn shop it is reported by Transworld Motocross [via pe.com].

According to the report, in January 2016 the Riverside County Sheriff’s Perris Station received a report regarding the theft of precious metals from Sun City Coin & Pawn in Menifee, California.

The Burglary Suppression Team was assigned to what was believed to be ongoing criminal activity. In a press release Sergeant Curt Harris said further investigation identified the suspect in that crime was 22-year-old, Corrina Elizabeth Conway of Riverside, California.

It is understood that the Burglary Suppression Team began to build a body of evidence that supported Conway had been embezzling the store’s silver throughout the past year. Sergeant Harris said that the business had suffered losses in excess of $200,000.00.

On February 9, 2016, officers were able to catch Conway red-handed when she reportedly stole an additional $8,000 in silver.

Her arraignment was scheduled for February 18, at the Riverside Hall of Justice, at 8 a.m. We’ll update the story when we get more news.
