Bry Mac and the real J-Law stir things right up in Aus at the Manjimup 15000…

Battlin’ Brit’s Bryan MacKenzie and Jamie Law put up a strong fight at Australia’s richest motocross event – the Manjimup 15000. With a huge gap in the UK schedule the pair of motocross prize fighters jumped on a plane to hit up the infamous Aussie event.

Great weather and great racing were found in abundance at the Cosy Creek MX Track where Jay Marmont was looking to take his third Manjimup 15000 title to equal Craig Dack’s current record. Marmont won the day’s opening three lap sprint ahead of J-Law and B-Mac and repeated that feat in moto two this time beating Michael Addsion and the Scot home.

The third event of the day was the All Stars Shootout that saw 20 riders whittled down to four in a series of one lap dashes. Addison won the first sprint and MacKenzie the next before Addo took another setting up a final dash for the cash. While Addison yanked the holey in the cash-paying race Law bumped his way through to take the $1000 prize. Not bad for a Northern monkey, eh?

Marmont returned to form for the final moto which carried double points to take the race win and overall with it. Bry Mac claimed second overall, Addison third and J-Law fourth.
