Preparing for this weekend’s EMX125 GP action at the Matterley Basin Dan Thornhill traded in his regular ride – an RM-Z250 – for a two-stroke 125 at the BSMA Finals at Little Silver. Thornhill won all five motos against the quarter-litre four-poppers proving that a well set-up 125 with the right rider onboard is still competitive.
“What an amazing weekend,” said team manager Paul Butler. Not only did Dan win, but to win on a 125cc and to win every race just goes to show how good the two-strokes are, and of course what a strong and adaptable rider Dan is. That’s another championship for this great young talent.”
