Brit SX series gets a real boost in the form of a £40k prize fund…

With a five round series now all sorted this winter’s Future West British Supercross Championship should be the best yet with a real focus on British athletes battling for British championship titles. The tour kicks off at Sheffield on October 22 before heading on to Belfast, Glasgow, London and Birmingham where the championship reaches its climax in February.

The three old Pro classes have now being melded into just two – The British SX class and the British SX Lites – with the prize fund from the third class being put towards a series purse which will be paid out to riders who support the full championship. In an effort to assist racers in these tough economic times Future West have waived the series registration fee. Regulations and entry forms will be available from the ACU after July 11.
