McElrath ruled out of Supercross opener with shoulder injury

Smartop Bullfrog Spas MotoConcepts Honda signing Shane McElrath will not make the Supercross season opener in Texas after separating the AC joint in his right shoulder.

McElrath crashed while training and will now have to take time to recover before he can make his debut for the team.

“Bummer to say I crashed last week and ended up with a grade three AC separation in my right shoulder. I’m down for the time being but I’ll be back,” said McElrath.
