Michael Mosiman has started to become a bit of fan favourite over the last few rounds of the Monster Energy Supercross championship, showing some good results amongst the front runners in the 250SX class.

After a mistake on the last lap of qualifying, the TLD GasGas rider has a three-bone break on his right hand, which will require immediately surgery, ruling him out for this evening and potentially the next few rounds.

ā€œI made a stupid move at the end of the last practice and I seem to have broken my hand in three places,” said Mosiman.

“I qualified third, was riding great, looking to get my first win here tonight but looks like itā€™s going to need surgery so weā€™re going to do the work necessary and be back out there to battle with the guys.

“Iā€™m super bummed and disappointed. Thanks to everyone sticking behind me and supporting me, we will be back.ā€
