Ken Roczen offered another update today from his hospital bed.
Although just yesterday he was back to working up a sweat on an exercise bike, he reminded the motocross world today that he has a very long way to go before he’s really back in training.
“Four out of seven incisions were closed today,” he said via an Instagram post. “They are still trying to clean all the dirt out and I hope we can start fixing my arm piece by piece next week – over the pain and all the damn tubes it comes with.”
It’s great to see that Kenny is remaining positive – even when there’s very little light at the end of the tunnel. Keep it going champ.
It feels amazing to be spinning a bit. Not from the drugs but my legs. Closing all the cuts up and taking out some metal tomorrow for swelling and hopefully start preparing my arm piece by piece starting Friday. I can guarantee you that I will be doing everything to get that arm back close to perfect. Still have to wait to really know how long it is gonna take but I am young and strong. Nothing is impossible
