Over the past several years of competing at the Iconic Daytona Supercross, there is one rider who has become synonymous with winning and that is Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac.

The Colorado native has dominated previous rounds of the Daytona supercross winning four out of five years of racing on board his Kawasaki KX450. This year Tomac will be aiming to earn his fifth career Daytona win, which could tie him with Ricky Carmichael on the all time wins record for Daytona.

Over the past five years the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Tomac has led over 51% of the main event laps in Daytona, with an average qualifying position of two and an average finishing position of 1.2. As we’ve seen Tomac struggling so slightly at the previous rounds so far this year, is this something he can turn around for Daytona?
