Honda has released a statement on the status of Cole Seely and his injuries following his big crash at Tampa Supercross.
And it’s not good news for Seely or Team HRC Honda.
The statement read: After being evaluated at the local hospital, it has been confirmed that Cole Seely suffered a fracture to his pelvis and tailbone. He will undergo surgery tonight and more details will be released as they become available.
Seely crashed hard in the rhythm section during a heat race at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Florida.
The race was Red-Flagged and the Alpinestars Medics gave him assistance. It leaves the Factory Honda outfit wiped out with Ken Roczen also injured following a crash at San Diego Supercross.
