After failing to agree to terms for the 2021 season, Blake Baggett is out of a ride with Rocky Mountain KTM and has been replaced by Joey Savatgy who was left without a team when JGR Suzuki shut up shop.

Baggett had been with the team since 2017 and had won a Monster Energy Supercross Main Event in 2019 along with numerous race wins and podium finishes in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Savatgy had been linked to a move to MotoConcepts Honda after being spotted testing for the team but his immediate future now lies with the motorcycle megastore that has branches in Kentucky and across Utah.

ā€œThe team alone is proven,ā€ said Savatgy, speaking to RacerXā€™s Jason Weigandt. ā€œTheyā€™ve won races just this year and KTM as a whole, theyā€™ve won titles and races. Thereā€™s no worries about that.ā€

Savatgy will join existing team member Justin Bogle.
