The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna 250SX rider Jalek Swoll holeshotted Heat Race one, shortly followed by Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Cameron McAdoo, who then also made the pass on Swoll through the tricky sand section in the early laps of the race, and continued on to win.
Michel Harrison of Muc Off Honda holeshotted heat race two, as HRC’s Hunter Lawrence took the lead after two laps. Seth Hammaker got tangled up in the tough blocks and continued to make a couple of mistakes, remounts, then crashes again dropping him down to the LCQ. Lawrence then made a small mistake which allowed Justin Cooper to head through to take the win.
Monster Energy Star Yamaha’s Justin cooper got a great start into the 250SX main, with his team mate Nate Thrasher charging behind followed by Garret Marchbanks. MCadoo had a huge moment and got slammed into the face of the tunnel jump, knocking him clean out and led him to cause a red flag. He then got signed off by the medical crew and lined up on the gate for the restart!
Mcadoo went for the holeshot in the restart, just as Marchbanks shut the door, allowing Justin Cooper to fly though to lead early on. This then let to the battle for third position back and forth between Marchbanks and Mcadoo, as Mcadoo chased down Nate Thrasher to finish second as Cooper claimed the top spot once again.

HRC Honda’s Ken Roczen holeshotted the first 450SX heat race, as he then got tangled up with Dean Wilson in second whilst Monster Energy Start Yamaha’s Malcolm Stewart moved up into third. Further down the pack Justin Barcia went down making a small mistake with the back wheel washing away. Roczen went on to win the first heat race followed by Wilson, and Stewart.
Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin came through with a great holeshot in the 450SX Heat race two, making up for lost time from the last Atlanta round. Jason Anderson stalled it on the gate from what it looked like, as the race continued Anderson and Alex Ray came together in a collision mid air, with Ray just getting cross rutted which took both of them down, putting them both in the LCQ.
HRC Honda’s Chase Sexton holeshots the 450SX main but got quickly shoved out by Cooper Webb and Roczen, as Roczen pushed through to take a huge early lead. Meanwhile further down the pack Eli Tomac and Jason Anderson came together but both managed to stay on, as Anderson then flew past Musquin, and made an unreal pass on Cooper Webb to finish up third. Meanwhile Justin Barcia and Webb hammered it out for fourth and fifth position, as Barcia parked Webb on the top of the finish jump which dropped him down to sixth. Kenny clawed some championship points back by scoring the main event win in Atlanta two, followed by his team mate Chase Sexton giving HRC Honda a solid boost across the board.
