It appears that Aaron Plessinger has been hit with a small sanction. A report from Racer X speculates that he may have been punished for cutting the track following a crash.

The 250SX West points leader crashed in the whoops during the Monster Energy Supercross Main Event at Petco Park and when he rejoined the track he missed the turn.

Although there is no official word on this, it is clear that Plessinger has indeed been docked a position. He was initially placed seventh and now the official results show him in eighth place. Consequently, he has lost one point from the San Diego round and dropped to 133 points in the standings, which now leaves him four points clear of Joey Savatgy.
