There are numerous sources reporting this afternoon that Steven Lenoir has tragically died following a motocross incident in France.
Steven was competing at an event in Flanders when he crashed during qualifying.
Unconfirmed reports say he was initially treated by emergency services before firefighters took over and evacuated him to the Center Hospitalier de Lille.
Racing was initially stopped but apparently later resumed. Several riders, however, were too upset to carry on, including Milko Potisek. “I can not leave after such an accident. He’s a childhood friend, I do not have the head to go. I stop, ” he said.
It’s a terrible news to hear about the loss of another rider. Over the years Dirt Bike Rider has interviewed the French ace on numerous occasions and we’ve always enjoyed his company – it’s such tragic news.
