Local favourite Dany Torres takes a massive victory in Friday night’s Madrid X-Fighters event to close to within 25 points of new series leader Andre Villa. With former championship pace setter Nate Adams a non-starter due to injury it looked like Villa would be able to capitalize and ease out a huge lead in the series standings. However, a fifth place on the night means he only bypasses Adams by five points as Torres closes in.
The Spaniard’s on top form all night and beats back Blake Williams in the final to take the top spot. Joining them on the podium is Josh Sheehan while Maikel Melero, Villa and Adam Jones round out the top six.
