A wildcard rider at the Red Bull Pro Nationals opener last month, feverishly fast Frenchman Milko Potisek will be back for more at round two at Weston-super-Mare this weekend – and he’s going to be joined by compatriot Jean-Claude Mousse.

Milko proved to be right at home on hardpack at Landrake after racing to second overall in MX1 behind Kristian Whatley but it’s in sand where he really excels – although he may have met his match in the soft stuff in the shape of JCM.

Mousse is a four-time winner at the world-famous Le Touquet beach race and has incredible sand skills but it’s Milko who could be leaving Somerset at the end of the weekend with the coveted red plate of the series leader.

“I am very happy to compete in the second round of the Red Bull Pro Nationals,” says Milko.

“It’s going to be awesome doing short races like that on the beach. I know it won’t be easy to win because there are a dozen riders that know how to ride fast in the sand during this short amount of time.”

Milko added: “But I am ready to fight, I can’t wait to be there and I’m going to try and get the overall, even the red plate maybe…”
