In race two there was another win for Carpenter, and Hall once again took third, with Joel Rizzi between them for second. Hall improved in his last race of the day – pushing up to second and Drew Kemp took third. Carpenter continued his great form with another first place.

Small Wheels

In the Small Wheels’ opening race Christopher Mills took the chequers with Jed Etchells in second and Tom Grimshaw in third. Harry Kimber got out of the gate well in race two and grabbed the top spot with Etchells again taking second ahead of Grimshaw in third. In race three Kimber and Etchells mirrored their form from the previous race and Callum Green finished third.

Christopher Mills shook things in up race four by claiming first place and denying Etchells a win – Nathan Claughan completed the top three.

Big Wheels

Mitchell Lewis had a cracking start to each race in the Big Wheels – bagging himself three out of four race wins. Jay Hague stopped Lewis from a clean sweep by taking the win in race two.

Open Youth

Open Youth were next to hit the track and Jack Kelly rode hard and fast throughout all four races – no rider could match his speed taking all race wins.

On day two riders again woke up to bright blue skies and a track in superb condition.

65cc

Jack Carpenter got out the gate well for the first race of the day in the 65s with Lewis Hall keeping the pressure on in second. A few laps in and Hall took the lead when Carpenter crashed. Jack Galvin took a good second with Curtis Trimble finishing a well deserved third. Carpenter recovered from his off in race one to take the wins in race two and three.

Small Wheels

Tom Grimshaw was on top form, riding consistent and fast in race one and getting his first race victory of the weekend. Christopher Mills took second and Callum Green third.

Harry Kimber won the last two races with Jed Etchells second and Mills in third. In the last race Etchells pushed hard to get second ahead of Grimshaw.

Big Wheels

Mitchell Lewis took the lead out of the gate but Jay Hague battled his way through the pack and on the last lap he managed to make a good pass for the win. Lewis held second and Albie Wilkie took third.

The following race Lewis ran the show from gate drop to chequers with Hague having to settle for second ahead of Wilkie who again grabbed third.

In the last race Lewis and Hague continued their battle at the front and it was Hague that came out on top with a start to finish win. Lewis was second followed home by Joe Jeffries.

Open Youth

On Sunday Brad Todd dominated the Open Youth Class with all three race wins. In race one Jack Kelly got second and John Adamson in third. Adamson managed to bag himself second for both race two and three with Kelly settling for third.

Under 23s

Daniel Hutchinson got the holey and led the way for a few laps, with James Dunn on his back wheel. Dunn made a pass on Hutchinson to take the lead and race one win. Frazer Wakeford rode well and took third followed closely by Sam Winterburn.

Hutchinson got another great start in race two and grabbed the lead but he had to battle and push hard with Dunn once again closing the gap. With two laps to go Dunn was close enough to make a pass on Hutchinson and he made it stick. Wakeford and Winterburn would take third and fourth again.

In the third race of the day for the under 23s Dunn again took the win with Hutchinson having to settle for second and Wakeford finished third.

In the final race of the day Hutchinson was yet again great out of the gate, keeping ahead of the pack and grabbing the holey. Hutchinson had to keep on the gas with Dunn on his back throughout the race. Dunn pushed hard to take the lead off Hutchinson and in the final stages of the race Dunn made a pass and took the chequers. Hutchinson finished in second place and a consistent Wakeford was in third.
