What’s got 72 legs, travels at speeds approaching 100 miles per hour and calls everyone chief? The entry for this weekend’s International Allstar’s flat track championship…

Towyn in North Wales is set to host the fastest flat track racers the UK has ever seen on Saturday night (August 6) as 35 of Europe’s finest flat trackers – and Sutty – converge on the half mile circuit at Tir Prince Leisure Park for the inaugural International Allstar’s Championship.

Leading the entry is reigning British champ Ade Collins but he should have some very stiff competition as The Godfather Pete Boast, Richard Mason, Kings Lynn TT winner Tom Woolley, Thunderbike supremo Anthony Brown, The Bens – Wells and Baker, Tim Neave, speedy Steve Coles and former CCM factory rider Richard May will all be looking to steal victory from under the nose of the #1 HM Plant Honda rider. Another star name certain to spice things up is TT3D star Guy Martin who’ll be making his flat track debut – the sideburned star of BBC TV’s The Boat That Guy Built is used to averaging speeds of 130 miles per hour around the TT course but can he be a threat on dirt? I wouldn’t bet against it.

The action all starts at 7pm on Saturday night and the Tir Prince circuit can be found just two miles west of Rhyl off the A548. Entrance costs a measly £12.50 for adults with family deals and discounts for accompanied under 16s available. For more details log on to www.tir-prince.co.uk or www.shorttrackuk.com.
