The ACU Motocross Committee can confirm that for 2021 Team GB will not be contesting the Sidecar Cross of Nations in France this season.
Following the tireless work by Team Manager, Dan Chamberlain to secure a strong team that could contest for the top result at the event, the decision has been made to miss the event for this year and focus on returning for the 2022 event.
Speaking of the reasons behind missing the event Dan Chamberlain commented, “Iāve been speaking to the top four Sidecar teams and for various reasons including injuries, travel restrictions & travel complications.”
“Also the constant changing of the World Championship dates with two rounds now being contested after the Nations event making it harder for riders to compete to the one off event.”
