The forever young Neville Bradshaw is doubling up this weekend at the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean.
The South African is to step up for Neil Prince’s Lombard Express Suzuki team this weekend, who are without their injured MX2 pilot, Kevin Wouts.
The former Red Bull Pro Nationals Champion has committed to race the new Two-Stroke British championship, which has its second round this weekend at Hawkstone Park on Sunday, May 14, but being the all-round good guy that he is, he’s agreed to help out Prince’s outfit while Wouts recovers from injuries sustained at the MX Nationals last month.
“When I ride for a team, I like to try and do a good job for them,” Bradshaw told Dirt Bike Rider exclusively. “And unfortunately when I got sick last year I left Neil [Prince] in the sh*t a bit.
“If I can help Neil out a bit now then it’s all golden.”
So fear not two-stroke lovers, we’ll still get to see Nev ripping it up on his stunning 15-year-old CR250 beast at the famous Hawkstone Park circuit on Sunday.
Bradshaw had a good opening round in the two-stroke series at Canada Heights last month, taking second overall with two second-place finishes and is six points behind championship leader Mike Kras.
