KTM Racing has announced today that the complete lineup of its Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams – from both sides of the Atlantic – will be racing at the MXGP finale, which will take place at the legendary Glen Helen venue in the USA.

The last race of the 17-round season is set for September 20, just one week before the big annual face-off of the Motocross of Nations, hosted this year by France.

KTM will have an additional presence in the final round with the US satellite teams of BTO Sports KTM and Troy Lee/Lucas Oil/KTM making it a real celebration of the Orange brand.

Pit Beirer, KTM’s Motorsport Director said it was a unique opportunity not only for the KTM teams but also for the best riders in the sport to compete against each other in a top class competition setting.

“We are going to Glen Helen with all of our factory riders from the MXGP World Championship and the US Motocross Series,” Beirer said.

“This will not only bring our own guys together in the true ‘Ready to Race’ KTM tradition, it will also give them a chance to race alongside the world’s best.

“We want the last round of the season to be really memorable and we very much hope that other top factory teams from the US will take up the invitation and join us at Glen Helen.”

Beirer added that all teams and above all, the sport of Motocross stand to benefit from such a high level competition in a race format that is different from the traditional MXoN, where riders meet to fight for their individual national glory.
