For British fans of MXGP, the on-off TV coverage from Motors TV last year was at best confusing and at worst infuriating.

But an announcement from Youthstream and Motorsport.tv today could finally bring back some stability to world motocross TV viewing in the UK with the news that they have agreed to a new three-year partnership.

Motorsport.tv – previously known as Motors TV – is part of the motorsport network and it will cover all the events of the FIM Motocross World Championship live!

They will provide coverage of the series to more than 31 million households across 38 countries and is the only TV platform offering racing via digital streaming, video on demand, cable, and satellite.

In a press release Motorsport TV LLC President, Jean-Luc Roy, said: “I am really pleased that we could reach a new agreement with our partner Youthstream to air the FIM Motocross World Championship on our brand new channels Motorsport.tv for 3 more years! The FIM Motocross races are amazing and our subscribers will be more than happy to continue to view these spectacular riders all around the world.”

David Luongo, Youthstream Director, commented: “Youthsream is extremely happy to continue the collaboration with Motorsport.tv. We will be next to our historical partner for this new chapter and we will continue to provide the best images of our sport. It is a very positive sign for all the MXGP fans.”
