Kevin Strijbos practice crash injury – out of Hawkstone International

Kevin Strijbos has confirmed that a practice crash has left him with a broken collarbone.

That rules the Belgian rider out of the Hawkstone International and the Standing Construct KTM man will also be a doubt for the first Grand Prix of the season in Argentina on March 4.

The 32-year-old veteran of MXGP had a tough time of it in 2017 and fans were hopeful that a switch from Factory Suzuki to KTM may give him a fresh start and with it some much-needed good fortune.

We wish the former British champion a full and speedy recovery.

Well, this just happened today. . Crash and broken collarbone. Tomorrow morning surgery in Belgium. Lets hope its healed quick and that i am behind the gate in Argentina. Feeling really good on my @standingktm . Small set back but we will be back stronger.
