Motocross World Championship team BOS GP has parted ways with another GP rider with Jordi Tixier leaving the team with immediate effect.

Just hours ahead of the MXGP of Switzerland, Tixier and team owner of BOS GP, Olivier Bossard, agreed by mutual consent that they would end their racing contract.

But it sounds like a less contentious split than the one with Benoit Paturel. “All at the team would like to thank Jordi for his commitment, his hard work and the time spent together, winning in the process two rounds of the Elite French Championship,” the team said on the split with the 25-year-old former MX2 world champion.

With a goal of top 10, the team will continue to race with Evgeny Bobryshev on his RM-Z450 through the remaining rounds of the 2018 MXGP series.

There is no word yet if Tixier has another ride lined up or indeed if he even plans to race at Frauenfeld this weekend.
