BOS GP is now an official Kawasaki team with both Evgeny Bobryshev and Tommy Searle racing the 2019 KX450 for ’19 FIM Motocross World Championship. But If you’ve kept it locked to dirtbikerider.com you’ll know that already. For BOS GP it goes deeper than getting their hands on a great bike – there’s an emotional connection that goes beyond racing and winning.
The French outfit isn’t completely new to the green machines, they started out three years ago working with Livia Lancelot as BOS suspension helped her to win a world championship title. BOS GP team owner Olivier Bossard also spent countless hours working with the late Steven Lenoir in Frenchman’s quest to win a British title.
“The goal was to bring the #685 into the MXGP World on the 450KXF, so having this green bullet under our tent will be the best way to remember him,” said Bossard.
“I’m stocked to sign with the best motocross bike directly after one year of MXGP racing. Every Monday, we look at the results of Eli Tomac and Clement Desalle and it gives us a lot of hope for sure. That 450F is well born and I just can’t wait to try to make it even better with our suspension knowledge.”
“My relationship with Kawasaki is basically a love story,” explained team manager, JJ Luisetti. “I sold green bikes in my French shop for 30 years, I have been the best European seller for 18 years, my Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team won EMX250, MX2 and MXGP races for 13 years, so you imagine that I don’t even have to tell you how happy I am to wear a Kawasaki Racing shirt again!
“All these years gave me experience and my goal with Olivier’s help is to quickly get the best combo: a strong bike, talented riders and a safe, efficient chassis. I clearly feel that BOS GP will be able to offer that to its riders for 2019.”
