Par Homes Husqvarna are ready to hit the ground running in 2021 with the return of ACU British Championship winner Evgeny Bobryshev to replace the injured Josh Gilbert.

Gilbert was due to make the step up to the MX1 classfor the 2021 season, however he sustained a knee injury towards the end of last season and has chosen to have surgery now to minimise recovery time.

It means the return of the vastly experienced Bobryshev, who will be piloting the Husqvarna FC450 in the MX1 class as well as selected rounds of MXGP.

“The agreement came later than normal, as the situation is difficult with making plans with budget etc,” Bobryshev told DBR.

“After the 2020 season everything was unknownwith the team. Finally a deal came about with PAR and Iā€™m happy about it, as I enjoy the team and we had a good relationship, they do best they can do. This year I concentrate on winning the British title.”
