Michelin has announced they will continue their support of the MX Nationals as the series goes into its fifth season.

The French tyre manufacturer has backed the championship for years and will continue as title sponsor for the 2018 MX Nationals championship.

“Michelin has been unwavering in their staunch support of the MX Nationals since its very beginning, and we couldnā€™t be happier to work with them again for what will be our fifth season,” said series race director, Paul Irwin in a press release.

“Their understanding of the British motocross scene, along with a commitment to ensure riders are given somewhere to ride and perfect their skills, at professional quality MX tracks across the country, means that the partnership works perfectly.”

RaceFX boss Paul Irwin, and his father Neil introduced the MX Nationals back in 2014 and the series has gone from strength to strength.

The MX Nationals stages youth classes alongside the adults, which gives younger riders invaluable experience. And importantly with many professional teams attending it becomes a great shop window to showcase their racing chops.

Michelin is once again offering free fitting/turning for all riders on Michelin rubber (regardless of purchase location).

This is provided by the experts at Dave Clarke Racing, as well as trackside sales of Michelin products.

Having provided the service at each MX National round over the past four seasons, Dave Clarke is confident that the 2018 season will see even greater growth of the event. “Weā€™ve witnessed the fantastic rise of this unique event over the past four seasons,” he said. “Itā€™s been a joy to see riders come up through the ranks, honing their skills along the way and no doubt becoming better racers.

“We, at Dave Clarke Racing, have been happy to share our tyre expertise with those that come to us for advice and of course having such an in-depth knowledge of the Michelin motocross range, along with Michelin product on sale right there at the trackside when it’s needed, we have been able to help riders across the board. We canā€™t wait to get back for 2018.”

The 2018 MX Nationals Championship calendar has been confirmed today with venues to be announced in the coming weeks.
